Smithfield Foods Leadership Scholars
Established in 2005 by Smithfield Foods, Inc. through its Smithfield Luter Foundation and Christopher Newport University, the Smithfield Foods Leadership Scholars Program rewards superior students and nurtures an appreciation for the art of leadership and the importance of citizenship.
Through a rigorous academic curriculum, select speakers, community service, study abroad and internships, these students will be empowered to become caring, knowledgeable and effective leaders in America and the world.
